Spring Haul out of SAR1B is underway

The volunteers of Station 1 do most maintenance on both our rescue vessels. SAR1 is out of the water at Thunderbird Marina being cleaned, repainted, jets serviced and systems checked.

The station is ready to respond with SAR1B 7 / 24.

RCM•SAR Station 1 – West Vancouver

Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue has 31 stations on the west coast.

Based in Horseshoe Bay, RCM•SAR Station 1 responds to marine emergencies in Southern Howe Sound and English Bay.

RCM•SAR is supported by the West Vancouver Marine Rescue Society - WVMRS. A registered charity (CRA Registration #82103 2687 RR0001) , the Society raises funds to cover the stations's operating and capital expenses.
